Transliteration :

“Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah: for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction.

2:152 So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.

So if we mention God i.e. Allah , Allah will mention us.Don't you want that Allah remember /mention you.So that We can become close to Allah.

So we should mention /remember Allah (God) , often /always.Thats is called Ziker in Arabic. There are many Azkar :

  • Subhan Allah(Allah is pure from all befallings/errors)
  • Alhamdu Lillah(All Praises fo Allah)
  • Allahhu Akbar(Allah is Greatest)
You can reicte it 10 times each /33/100 times each.

Virtue/Reward for reciting Subhan Allah 100 times:
it was narrated by Muslim in his Saheeh (2698) from Mus‘ab ibn Sa‘d ibn Abi Waqqaas: My father told me: We were with the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and he said: “Is it too difficult for any one of you to earn one thousand hasanahs (good deeds) every day?” One of those who were sitting with him asked him: How can one of us earn one thousand hasanahs? He said: “If he says one hundred tasbeehs, one thousand hasanahs will be recorded for him, or one thousand bad deeds will be erased for him.”

  • Subhan Allahi wa Bihamdihi(Allah is pure/above from all erros/befallings and praise is for Him)
Muslim (2692) also narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever says in the morning and in the evening: ‘Subhaan Allaah wa bi hamdihi (Glory and praise be to Allah)’ one hundred times, no one will come on the Day of Resurrection with anything better than what he has done, except one who said something like what he said, or more than that.”
