Do Muslims worship the same God as the Christians and Jews?

 Do Muslims worship the same God as others?

Answer: No

 I don't have much knowledge about other religions.What they believe about God. Islam says Allah s.w.t,i.e God,is Nur(Light).

Surah Nur : Allah azza wa jal says :

"Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. His light is like a niche in which there is a lamp, the lamp is in a crystal, the crystal is like a shining star, lit from ˹the oil of˺ a blessed olive tree, ˹located˺ neither to the east nor the west, whose oil would almost glow, even without being touched by fire. Light upon light! Allah guides whoever He wills to His light. And Allah sets forth parables for humanity. For Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things".24:35

The first Chapter Surah al Fatiha, Allah says :

"All praise is for Allah—Lord of all worlds."1:1

"the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful", 1:2

Surah Shuraa , chapter 42, Allah s.w.t says that:

"˹He is˺ the Originator of the heavens and the earth. He has made for you spouses from among yourselves, and ˹made˺ mates for cattle ˹as well˺—multiplying you ˹both˺. There is nothing like Him, for He ˹alone˺ is the All-Hearing, All-Seeing." 42:11

So, according to above verses qouted , we muslims believe that Allah s.w.t is Nur(Light) and there is nothing like Him i.e. Allah s.w.t. So Idol worship and worshipping other worldy things like, statues,Sun,moon, stars ,animals like cow,Gosala, monkeys etc are not allowed to be worshipped.These things are not god rather these things are creations.We can't worship Messengers either. Christians believe that Hazrat Esa A.S (Jesus Christ) is son of God or God Himself.Which is completely incorrect belief.We can't worship Messengers either. Christians believe that Hazrat Esa A.S (Jesus Christ) is son of God or God Himself.Which is completely incorrect belief.Quran says that the Hazrat Esa a.s is noble prophet and his mother Hazrat Maryam Alaihis salam is siddiqah i.e a pious woman.

Hazrat Esa A.S is son of Maryam alahis salam.He is not son of god and also he is not god.He was like other humans ,me , you and others.The verse i qouted that "There is nothing like Him(Allah)" Surah Shura.It also proves that Esa was like everyone and has many simili So He can not be God as some christians believe.Also this verse proves that things like sun,earth, qamar(moon),stars,Idols and other worldy objects which many of the people worship and think that they are god, can not be god as they have many similis,examples.

Despite this non-muslims are not understanding and are worshipping idols or worldly objects.Worshipping objects and people or prophets,pious people is called Shirk which is not allowed in Islam.Shirk is the biggest sin and also the only sin which is not fogiveable and it's strictly forbidden.

Jews say that Hazrat Uzair(Ezra as they call) Alaihis salam is son of God/Allah(Nauzu Billah).We muslims believe that Uzair A.S was a not son of God but he was noble prophet.Quran confirms this , it is mentioned in Surah Baqarah:verse : 259:

"Or him who came upon a township as it lay fallen on its trellises. He said, ‘How will Allah revive this after its death?!’ So Allah made him die for a hundred years, then He resurrected him. He said, ‘How long did you remain?’ Said he, ‘I have remained a day or part of a day.’ He said, ‘No, you have remained a hundred years. Now look at your food and drink which have not rotted! Then look at your ass! [This was done] that We may make you a sign for mankind. And now look at its bones, how We raise them up and clothe them with flesh!’ When it became evident to him, he said, ‘I know that Allah has power over all things.'"

Even though the name of Uzair is not mentioned in the above verse, Quranic exegetes agree that the person who wonders how God resurrects the dead is Uzair.

"The Jews call ‘Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ(Esa) the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! "

Of course, Jews today will probably deny that they say Uzair or Ezra (biblical name) is the son of God. However, there definitely were a group of Jews at the time of Prophet Muhammad who used to say Uzair is the son of God.

A very important Surah of Quran e Majeed, Surah Ikhlas 112:

Allah jalla shanuhu says:

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “He is Allah—One ˹and Indivisible˺ . 112:1

Allah—the Sustainer ˹needed by all˺. 112:2

Another translation:

Allah, the eternally Besought of all! (The one who does not need anyone but everyone is in need of ) 112:2

He begetteth not nor was begotten. 112:3

And there is none comparable to Him.” 112:4

Listen to the Arabic recitation the actual words of Allah azza wa jal and also the translation.What Allah the lord of all heavens and earth and the Lord/sustainer of big throne, says about Himself.

Indeed, Allah does not forgive associating others with Him ˹in worship˺,but forgives anything else of whoever He wills. And whoever associates others with Allah has indeed committed a grave sin.(4:48)

But for there is a hopeful verse in Quran which says Allah swt the merciful will forgive all of the sins.read ahead.

He says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Say: ‘O My slaves! who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily, Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful’” [Az-Zumar 39:53].

If we add up the verse number and the chapter number i.e. 39+53=92.Which is the abjad number of  name of Prophet s.a.w.

And also 39=9+3=12=3 which is the final number of Name of Allah. which 66=6+6=12=1+2=3.

and 53 is the number of Prophet s.a.w.

And Quran says that Prophet s.a.w is the blessing for all kingdoms /worlds.And Prophet s.a.w will be the the first one to intercede for the people (Ummah/Nation) on the day of resurrection/qayamah/dooms day.

"The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'My intercession is for the people who comitted major sins in my Ummah.'"

Another saying:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah says: 'I am just as My slave thinks I am, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if He remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I too, remember him in Myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they; and if he comes one span nearer to Me, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.' ".

I hope this explanation answers your question and removes any conflicts in your mind about Concept of Allah according to Islam. So muslims don't worship the same God as others.

I have to confirm to you people that There are no different  gods for muslims,Christian and jews and Hindus.There is only one God i.e Allah s.w.t.
